[The Power - Reporter Choi Sung-min] Juyoung PNS Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Jeong-gu) announced that it won the "Grand Prize in Eco-friendly Logistics Innovation" at the "2026 Grand Prize for Innovative Figures (Companies/Organizations) and Brands that Will Shine in Korea," which was held on February 6.
The ‘Grand Prize for Innovative Figures (Companies/Organizations) and Brands That Will Shine in Korea’ is an awards ceremony hosted by Herald Business and The Korea Herald, and organized by Monthly Power Korea (Publisher Baek Jong-won). It was established by Herald Media Group to discover and promote individuals, companies, and organizations that have fostered sound corporate cultures and showcased innovation based on outstanding competitiveness in various fields of society, both domestically and internationally.
At this awards ceremony, held at the Korea Press Center, a total of 40 companies, individuals, and brands received the honor of winning, including the Gimpo City Pet Public Medical Center, Geumjeong-gu (Busan), Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG), Busan Tourism Organization, Starbucks Korea, GS Retail, The Gen Hospital, FOALab Co., Ltd., Pi Chae-hee Personal Branding Lab, International Certification & Auditing Education Institute, and Gyeonsaengnyangpum. The event received a great response, featuring MC Kim Se-young, a performance by Lee Seung-jae (CEO of Sensation MS), and celebratory performances by Tenor Oscar and Soprano Helen Kim.
The 'Eco-Bundle,' developed by Juyoung PNS, is an industrial packaging material designed for reuse to solve the environmental burden caused by the widespread use of stretch film for securing cargo on pallets. It is characterized by its ability to drastically reduce waste generation compared to consumable packaging materials. Because it can be reused for a long period, it minimizes plastic waste generated during the packaging process and is structured so that waste is only generated in a limited capacity at the end of the product's life.
Analysis based on actual logistics site usage conditions (20 uses per month per shipment) showed that applying the Eco-Bundle reduces waste generation by approximately 98.5% and packaging material costs by about 89% over a 2-year period compared to plastic wrap. Furthermore, it was analyzed that the intensity of labor for on-site workers has been alleviated as working time has been shortened due to the simple fastening method.
Eco-Bundle is currently being applied and operated at actual logistics sites, and its stability and durability have been confirmed through about two years of use. According to opinions from on-site officials, it is expected to be usable for up to 5 years based on the current state of use, drawing attention to its long-term effectiveness.
